The cloth is thinning
The colour is fading
The stitches are breaking

The threads that are holding together
Different pieces
Unique pieces
That make up the embroidery
Are breaking

The masterpiece is falling apart

You thought it was perfect
You were awed by its design
But you were misled

The masterpiece is merely a facade
Hiding the flaws within

Held by clumsy stitches
The threads are now breaking
